Joy // Maternity Session

I’ve known Joy for quite a few years now, not only is she one of my favorite humans and a great friend, but she’s also my go to girl for hair and make-up for all of our styled work and the only person I will ever let cut + dye my hair. We don’t typically shoot maternity sessions, but when she told me she was expecting a little baby girl, I’m pretty sure I yelled, “DIBS ON PHOTOS” immediately. Normally, you’ll catch Vince and I shooting on a mountain or in the forest, but we decided to do Joy’s photos as a part of our Creative Portrait Day – this time we locked ourselves in a white room with amazing lighting to see what we could come up with – it doesn’t hurt that Joy is a total natural behind the camera and is the babe of all babes.
