I don’t need an engagement shoot, can I skip it?
We highly recommend that you do an engagement shoot with us. First, its free! If you booked a wedding with us, engagement photos come with it. Our little gift to you. Second, the engagement shoot is an important chance for all four of us to hang out, have a fun time, and get to know each other. It ensures that we are all comfortable together and typically helps you feel more relaxed around us on the day of your wedding. Third, engagement sessions are super fun and you'll get a ton of neat photos to share before your wedding.
Do you travel? What about Destination weddings?
We love to travel!!! Live in a different state? Country? That’s totally right up our alley!
Travel expenses?
Each wedding exceeding one hour of driving time will include travel expenses. Shoot us an e-mail and we’d be happy to work out the details!
Can I see a full wedding sample?
Absolutely! Shoot us an e-mail and we would be happy so send you a link to a full wedding. We usually try to send you a wedding gallery that will be comparable to yours, based off of your location and time of year, so be sure to include a few details about your day. When we meet for a consultation we will bring along a hardcopy for you to see!
Do you provide partial day coverage?
We prefer not to. We feel that it is important to tell a story with the images we provide and that means being there for all of it- every important detail and the quiet moments in between. We do, however, make some exceptions for couples with special circumstances, so feel free to e-mail us with any questions.
What kind of equipment do you have?
We both shoot with Canon 5D Mark IVs, and use mostly prime lenses. For all you camera nerds out there, Vince almost always uses the 35mm and 85mm lenses; Dana is all about the 50mm and 24mm tilt-shift lenses. We prefer natural light, but will also ALWAYS be prepared with on-camera and off-camera flash. We also love shooting film, both 35mm and medium format. How long does it take to get our photos back?
In our contract it states that you will have your wedding photos back between four to eight weeks of your wedding date. Sometimes we can get them back a little quicker depending on the time of year and how many weddings we are shooting. We want to edit and sort each wedding to the best of our abilities and take pride in the quality of photos we deliver. We won’t compromise the quality of the photos we provide to deliver them sooner.
how will we receive our photos?
For engagement and portrait shoots you will receive your images on a secure online gallery. For your wedding, you will receive your images on a flash drive and online gallery.
can we have the raw files?
Sorry, but we do not provide clients with RAW files. We work hard to keep our work unique and a specific style. RAW files do not represent who we are as a photography team and are considered “unfinished”.
