California is a pretty magical place. You can see lush coastal landscapes, sweeping plains, rocky deserts, and alpine vistas all in a matter of hours. This segment of our journey took us to Joshua Tree National Park, a unique desert landscape in southern California.
Here you’ll get to see Dana’s impression of a cactus, Vince’s excitement upon seeing his first Joshua tree, and the album cover to our fictional band. OH BOY!!!!
But seriously, this place was pretty awesome. Besides being one of the best bouldering sites in the world, it is home to some of the darkest night skies in the lower 48!!! Unfortunately, it was cloudy most nights that we were camping, but there was a brief spot of clear skies where we were able to snag a few starscapes.
Anyways, here they are.
